Los Angeles Skyline

Above photo shows the Los Angeles skyline as seen from Hollyridge Trail, with the Griffith Observatory on the ridge to the left. Below image shows the skyline from the same vantage point with an LAPD AS350 helicopter.

i'm axel, founder, editor, and author of the helikopter hysterie blog. i like helicopters (you guessed it) and i'm not the only one. that's why, on this site, i share the countless helicopter images i took over the years, and will continue to take. not sure what it is, but even before i ever flew shotgun in a helicopter, i was fascinated by this complicated piece of engineering, that can hover a few inches above ground, just like that, no questions asked. in 2011 i took the controls of an r22 for the first time and am sure i will do it again.

since dec 5, 2009 we also have Freedman a.k.a. Nathanial Hörnblowér on board as a valued publisher!

we post mostly original content. 99%. never before seen images or aspects, anything rotary wing (T). photos and videos that we took ourselves, and host here on HH exclusively, not anywhere else.
